Tunkhannock Ambulance is the First responder for Clinton Township as of June 2025. Please lend a helping hand for their fund raiser drive. Mailing were sent our to residents please HELP them hit their goal.

Clinton Township was awarded a PENN DOT TSA set aside grant in the amount of $601,439.00 to construct a walking/ biking trail to connect Creekside park with Christy Mathewson park. We are very excited about this project it will help keep everyone safe while traveling between the parks. We have also applied for a DCED grant to add an ADA compliant parking lot at Creekside park and a walking trail!

Recycling News!

The Recycling Containers are at the Creekside Park Monday thru Friday. They are no longer there on the weekends. Dump you bags of cans ect. do not leave them in trash bags unless the bags are Clear. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR RECYCLABLES ARE CLEAN!! DO NOT PILE BAGS ON THE STEPS OR THE GROUND!!

Plastic-Only Bottle and Jars that are Numbered 1 & 2 on the Bottom, Clear and Brown Glass Beverage and Food Bottles and Jars,  Tin Cans-Must be Clean; Labels can be left on Aluminum Cans/Pie Pans, Corrugated Cardboard, Newspapers and Brown Paper Bags, Magazines – Stapled and Glue Binded are acceptable, Office Paper – White ledger paper, White computer paper and Color ledger paper (please place these items in a separate bag from other recyclables)                                       

NON-ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS

No Plastic tubs or tray No water cooler bottles, No buckets, No plant trays or pots, No plastic toys, furniture, No green glass, No lids or caps, No dishes, No light bulbs, No cups or window panes, No dirty, rusty tin cans, or aerosol cans, No aluminum foil, No styrofoam, No plastic, No wood, No wax coated cardboard, No WET cardboard and No milk or juice cartons, No junk mail or wet newspapers, No carbon copy paper, No Oil, Grease or Paint containers.

Quads, 4 wheelers, side by sides and other off-road vehicles are NOT ALLOWED to be operated on township roads. Most roadways in Bunkerhill, Silvermark, Hill Top Estates are township roads NOT private roads.         We respectfully request that these off-road vehicles be kept off township roads.  We have received complaints regarding this activity and video evidence including adults and children in violation of this.  Any future  violations of  this issue  will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Please submit the application 30 days prior to the desired date of the event.  The application may be mailed to the address above there is a $100.00 usage fee payable when you return the permit application, make checks payable to “Creekside Park”.  **In addition to the usage fee, there is a $50.00 refundable cleaning/maintenance fee for groups hosting in excess of 100 people, if you choose to have Park personnel remove garbage from the park the fee of $50 will not be refunded. 

All groups must tidy/remove garbage in the area(s) used prior to leaving the park, please replace can liners then take the garbage to the dumpster across the street at the township building.
